PPR Presents LimeLight: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

here’s a whole lot of buzz on the web on whether or not Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is just a glorified demo; after much deliberation (not a whole lot) we decided that instead of reviewing Ground Zeroes, We’ll cover it a different way—stream the shit out of it for Limelight.

You guys can tune in (and subscribe to us while you're at it) Sunday, March 23rd, at 7:00 PM pacific time and join us in the chat, and hopefully, do everything that we can, and not beat the damn thing on the actual stream.

PPR presents Limelight: Kirby's Dreamland 3

t’s a shame when there are games that release during those weird time windows or conditions that subject it to the depths of obscurity; and one such game is one of the best starring Nintendo’s pink stud.

Kirby’s Dreamland 3 was released back in 1997 on the SNES, more than a year after the release of the ongoing and mind-blowingly advanced Nintendo 64—it’s a real shame a lot of people haven’t played it, let alone heard of it. That’s why we’re taking it upon ourselves to stream it with George taking the lead, and fret not guys, if you’re loving what you’re watching then you can find the gem on the Wii U’s Virtual Console the Kirby Anniversary Collection on Wii.

You guys can tune in (and subscribe to us while you're at it) around Sunday evening, March 2nd, at 6:00 PM pacific time and join us in the chat as we get adorable as fuck with some 16-bit crayon effects!

PPR Presents Lime Light: Tempo

unny that we would be doing Lime Light on more than one 32X game year…no really, it’s actually hilarious—the opportunity to do this one was just too good to pass up. One of the exclusive titles for Sega’s Mushroom-shaped add-on is one of the reasons most Sega owners would even install the 32X, and it’s from the same people that brought us Bonk, Air Zonk, and Gungrave…We’re streaming Tempo.

Tune in around Wednesday evening, September 11th, at 5:45 PM pacific time and join us in the chat on our Twitch page, getting down with the phat beats and animation so Japanese that you’ll be shouting “Nanja korya!” at all the colors coming out of your interwebs screen.

Press Pause Radio presents Lime Light: Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun

veryone and their mom may have heard of the Vampire whipping classic Castlevania by now but there was one particular franchise that’s hardly brought up around the gamer water cooler. I’m talking about Kid Dracula from 悪魔城スペシャル ぼくドラキュラくん-Akumajō Special: Boku Dracula-kun of course (which translates into Demon Castle Special: I'm Kid Dracula.) This is all before the count got all full-fledged evil and shit, and managed to spawn a little dude who hops around the world to adorably fight demons to the whimsy of all who play it.

Tune in around Friday, July 19th, at 9:30 PM pacific time and join us in the chat on our Twitch page or settle in for the stream right here where George and the crew get down on the get down and might have a couple of brews as they get unbearably cute with the fabled Lord of Darkness.

PPR Presents Lime Light: Ecco: Defender of The Future

ince we’re going all out, you don’t mind if we squeeze a Limelight out, I mean…it’s not like we’ve done one of those for a while, right? Well, the game in particular that we’ll be showcasing for our trademark stream is a bit obscure but it was also a majority vote among the followers of Press Pause Radio; Ecco: Defender of the Future. This was the last the game that starred the heroic dolphin of destiny and was the only three dimensional affair as well, it was kind of impressive on the Dreamcast for its day, but we’ll see how well it’s held up during the Limelight! Tune in around Saturday, May 11th, at 6:30 PM pacific time and join us in the chat on our Twitch page or settle in for the stream right here where George and Sean get down on the get down and might have a couple of brews and become one with the fishes.
